ODJFS to Fund Internships for 29 Columbus Promise Participants
COLUMBUS, OHIO – Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) Director Matt Damschroder announced today that the agency will provide $600,000 so that 29 young people participating in the Columbus Promise program can work as interns at 11 local nonprofit organizations during the upcoming school year.
More Than 100 of Ohio’s Farmers’ Markets Accept SNAP Payments
COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) reminds SNAP recipients that they can use their Ohio Direction Card to buy fresh, wholesome, locally grown foods at more than 100 farmers’ markets across Ohio. The new ODJFS website features a video showing both individuals and market organizers how to participate.
